Agent Backup 9.5 u3

Hello,

I was updating a Veeam B&R Server this week to 9.5 u3.
I've tried the new Agent Backup and created a protection group with 2 physical servers.

Now my question is, does someone else have long duration for the Agent backup.

My backup needed nearly 40 hours to finish the first full backup (before the centralized Mangement the first full needed about 8 hours)
First i thought, pherhaps it is the first full backup, but after that the next backup takes the same amount of time.

I haven't found any information, if the Agent Backup still does a incremental forever backup. But i hope it does, because i still got the option for for a active and synthetic.

Has anyone recognized the same problem, otherwhise i have to open a case.

Hello Alexander,

Can you please clarify the following:

1. What type of backup job was configured for these servers (managed by agent or managed by backup server)?
2. Have you installed the CBT driver for these servers?
3. Have you seen any errors or warnings in the log?
4. What backup mode was used (I assume it was Entire PC backup)?

these are managed by the backup server.
I haven't installed this driver yet.

About the CBT driver, i saw that in the local installed Agent there should be a button to install the cdp driver, but there was no button at my Agents.(before i started to manage them via B&R server)

Update about the problem.

I found out that if i create a Backup Job for each physical server it helps.
It created everytime a new folder for each server, if i added 2 servers to one backup. This caused the problem. I guess it couldn't find the existing full backup, because of the different folders (just my interpretation)

Now i have just one missing part that everything is fine. I created a Powershell script for myself, but I can't find the command that it lists me the Agent Backup.

Pherhaps someone know these commands.
