If I change the hostname (or IP on an agent added by IP address) is there any way to update the configuration so that veeam still sees the agent?
My exact question would be, we changed the whole subnet that the veeam server/local clients are on and we have one workstation that was added by IP instead of hostname and can no longer connect to the server, is there a way to solve this besides deleting/uninstalling agent and starting fresh?

Re: Changing hostname or IP of manually added computer
Hello,
remove / add computer in the backup job is the easiest way. Uninstalling the agent is not required.
If you are using active directory, it might be easier to manage your agents via AD object instead of DNS / IP addresses.
Best regards,
Hannes
