Email from Veeam Agents

Post by m.novelli »

Hello, is possible to NOT receive email report for backups done with unmanaged Veeam Agents?

Thanks,

Marco

Hello,
I moved your question to the Veeam Agent for Windows forum as I assume it's about the Windows agent.

If you say that the email notification is not working, then it sounds like a technical issue. For AIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows agents, the global email settings also apply. Again, if it's not working, please provide a support case ID for this issue, as requested when you click New Topic.

Best regards,
Hannes

Hello Hannes, it was right in the Veeam Backup & Replication forum, they know what I'm talking about
It's not a technical issue
Thanks,
Marco

Hello,
if it's about agents related to VBR, then the Servers & Workstation forum is the correct one (where I moved it now)

As I still do not read which agent it is about, I re-phrase my general answer from above. The global email settings apply for unmanaged agents (see link above). If you say that you disabled global email notifications and you still get email notifications, then it still sounds like an issue to me.

Best regards,
Hannes
