Hello
We would like to use veeam for replacing bare metal server (windows). We have to move 3Tb user data on that new server.....We like to restore main of data few days previously to swap server..And restore, last changed datas during the server swapping.
Backups datas are stored in the same room on a Syno NAS
To have better performance, a console need to be installed on target server in order to use "Copy to" functionality.
"Copy to" from a server to another trough network have very poor performances.....
It s not possible to restore only differentials data s and merge these on a disk who have been restored few days before.
Does someone experience this kind of case ?
Thanks a lot for your answers

Re: Incremental restore
Hi Laurent
I moved the topic, because I assume you are using VBR together with Veeam Agents.
Our Veeam Agent isn't built for doing such migrations. Why not using a file copy tool like FastCopy or robocopy?
These tools have the functionality to sync file structures between the source and the target location.
If you still want to use Veeam agent, you can mount the backup to C:\VeeamFLR and use one of the mentioned tools to sync the content of C:\VeeamFLR to the target location.
The backup can be mounted by starting a FLR session in the VBR console or with our data integration API.
Thanks
Fabian
