We have a couple of physical servers running various Oracle database instances and have added them in to Veeam
The Oracle part gets backed up by standard Oracle processes set up by the DBA for those servers, so we just need to run the Veeam backup after the Oracle backups have completed and dumped to local disk on the server
If we select 'Copy only' under application aware processing > General is this enough for Veeam not to be interfering with Oracle or do we also need to add in the DisableOracleProcessing (DWORD) registry value setting on the servers too?

Re: Physical Oracle server processed by Veeam
If you have other applications running on this VM which require VSS processing, then the abovementioned key should be a way to go. Here is a bit more info on the key usage from our release notes:
Added ability to disable Oracle processing without having to disable application-aware processing for the rest of applications running on the same VM. To enables this behavior, create DisableOracleProcessing (DWORD) registry value under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication key on the processed VM.
