Hi ,
Is it possible to use only one Mediaset Label on the Tapes in an Mediapool when u use the "Tape Drive parallel processing" Feature ?
I dont understand that the Tapes in one and the same Mediapool was labeled with different Numbers only because of another Tape Drive which writes Data on the Tape.
Is there in Veeam B&R 11 any news for this behavior ?
Thanks
Michael

Re: Different Media Set Labels when use "Parallel Processing"
Hello Michael,
No that's not possible. To correctly handle tape sequences (for backup and restore) we need to open the media sets equal to the number of drives. Is it possible to use only one Mediaset Label on the Tapes in an Mediapool when u use the "Tape Drive parallel processing" Feature ?
Mind me asking - the main issue is the way how tapes are labeled in the UI? Thanks!I dont understand that the Tapes in one and the same Mediapool was labeled with different Numbers only because of another Tape Drive which writes Data on the Tape.
