Hi all
I'm fairly new Veeam administrator with most of my experience being with TSM. Right now, our backup are nightly incremental with a Synthetic full on Saturday night, with 14 restore points. A job copies the backups to tape for offsite storage.
My issue is that full and incremental files are eating up quite a lot of disk on my SAN (around 30TB). I'm wondering if it's possible to move these backups to tape, and simply use disk as a staging area for my nightlys?

Re: Disk to Tape configuration
In order to decrease disk space consumption you can lower retention for a backup job and switch to forward forever incremental mode, so that, a backup chain has only one full backup in any given moment. Additionally, create a backup to tape job (or use existing one) to guarantee long-term retention. Thanks.
