Hello Everyone,
I have a question with regards to end of media, as it appears that both Veeam and the tape vendor has their own define limit.
Now with that being said, how would I go about with finding this information? Is this something that I would need to contact the tape vendor for?
Furthermore, is the term end of media just solo unique with Veeam or would different tape vendor call it differently.
Now as a background, our current environment uses HP's LTO 6 tapes and I am having a hard drive finding this information out. This information is not very clearly state on the manufacture's website and any help is very much appreciated.

Re: End of Media
Hi Supraman,
Beginning of the tape (BOT) and end of the tape (EOT) (Physical structure chapter) are special ‘flags’ received from the tape cartridge by the backup software. It’s standard flag, so if you want to get the information regarding some particular tape you need to contact it’s manufacturer.
