Bit of a strange situation here, but here we go.
I am going to be setting up a new server - bare metal - Windows. This is a smaller location, they will only have a single physical server but require backup to tape. I want to use Veeam if at all possible, but it definitely brings about some challenges being a single server.
My thought, not sure this is possible.
Veeam End Point - installed on the server - local repository for backups
Veeam Standard - also installed on the local server - used to do tape jobs for the End Point backup files.
It may not be possible, but I really want to use Veeam.
Can anyone let me know if the configuration above makes sense?
Thanks

Re: End Point Backup - Then to tape using Standard - 1 Serve
It's possible, but you will need at least Enterprise edition. With standard edition, files to tape job (archiving EP backup to tapes) is the only option for you. Thanks.
