Export current media setup upon job completion explanation

Hello,

I've plan to set the following on my VBR server:
- media pool options : Do not create, always continue using current media set
- D2T backup : I've ticked "Export current media set upon job completion".

Is the job's beginning date is considered here ? or the end date?

In my case, i'm running a full backup that starts the Saturday 22H00 and finish the monday morning at 3H00 AM (so >24H). The same job (incremental this time) is run on Monday evening 22H00 and finish Tuesday around 2H00 AM.
If i wish the media set to be closed after my full backup , do i need to select Saturday or Monday ?

Hello archvector,

The day when needed tape is recorded works. Media set creation date defines when new media set needs to be created (not closed), so if your tape is already being processed it will stay in the media set for the day before. Thanks!
