I was thinking about this primarily when creating tape jobs as a lot of the important settings are actually on the media pool and not in the job itself so when creating a new job with an existing media pool I have to close out the job creation wizard and go open the media pool settings to see the encryption settings (for example).
Would it be possible to have a way to open the properties (even in some kind of read-only report) of Repositories/Media Pools/etc. from inside the "New Job" or even "Edit Job" window?
I find that I often have to cancel the creation of a new job so I can go back and verify the settings of the target location before I commit to creating the job.

Re: Feature Request - Ability to see settings of "dependenci
We are going to show a summary of all medial pool settings right under the media pool selector (I've just approved the corresponding UI mockup earlier this week).
