We currently run a weekly full, with daily incremental. Every month, I take the most recent full plus whatever subsequent incrementals and manually write them to tape for our month end backups.
Annoyingly, I can only add one file at a time in a "file to tape" job, which means clicking "Add files", then browsing to the folder where the files are stored, and scrolling through a list of mind-melting file names to pick out the full, then do it all again for the next incremental, then all over again, and again...
When the month end falls on the day before a full it takes ages to browse and select each file. Can't we just shift-select multiples and add them?
Thanks,
Jamie

Re: Feature Request - Add multiple files to job
Hello Jamie and welcome to the community!
Indeed ability to choose several files at once would be handy. The request is taken into account.
However you can just use backup to tape job instead of file to tape one. Make it copy the last chain only every month and it will do automatically exactly what you do manually every month.
Thanks!
