I have run into an issue with my monthly backups.
Because Veeam performance is low with tapes my monthly archives are taking an extended time. What happens is the job kicks off, and it runs for days. This gets interrupted by the nightly backups which then fail out my monthlies.
I would like a feature on tape jobs to disable related backups until they are completed to tape. I.E. preferably disable a job until it's completely archived, and re-enable dynamically instead of waiting for the whole tape job to finish. Otherwise I have to manually disable all my jobs to get a monthly complete and remember to re-enable whenever that's done.
Better would be if the job could still run simultaneously without having to be disabled (maybe hold off consolidation until tape is done)?

Re: Feature Request (Tape and Forever Incremental)
Is it correct that this has been solved in 9.5 ?

When a tapejobs refers to a backup copy job, is this setting still effective ? I can imagine that the backup copy job will be idle when no changes happen due to the delay of primary backup jobs, but just want wo be sure
