I cancelled a tape catalog job and it won't stop (its been running more than 60 hours since I asked it to stop. Support tell me it's a known bug (case # 01762044). They sent a fix but before I can apply the fix I must terminate the job and stop the Veeam services.
Does anyone know if forcing the service to stop before the job stops would cause a database corruption -in my book this is a bad thing to do! My money's on the services would then refuse to stop anyway and hang. Anyone else had any experience of this?

Re: Job won't stop
Veeam database won't be corrupted - you can restart veeam services without waiting for the job to stop.Does anyone know if forcing the service to stop before the job stops would cause a database corruption -in my book this is a bad thing to do! Thank you.

Thanks, that seemed to work ok, I can now apply my patch and test.
