Mail slot disable impact?

As we've been running our second site tape library exclusively on Veeam for a while now (replacing BExec) we no longer need the mail slot to be configured available so I'd like to disable it which turns it back into a "normal" slot.

However I'm aware that this will likely cause a renumbering of ALL of the slots which might appear to Veeam as though all the tapes have been shifted up one slot (i.e. 23 will become 24, 22 ->23 etc.) so I thought I'd check on the best process to do this, i.e. any re-scans/service restart recommendations when making such a change?

Paul,

I believe the change wont take any effect if you disable all the tape jobs and run tape library rescan immediately. Maybe it's better to check with support team (just to be sure you wont break anything with this modification).
