Hi,
We've just built a new Veeam 7 R2 server with an LTO6 tape drive attached. As we've built this on Win2012 R2 we can't use our existing BE2012 (from this machine) as it doesn't appear to support 2012 on the media server. Now some of our VM's are big - 5-10TB+ and the resulting .VBKs might be anywhere between 3-6TB. Can we use Veeam's Tape Support for VBK's of this size or will it not be robust enough?
Thank you

Re: Maximum VBK size for Tape?
Why not? With backup to tape jobs or file to tape ones, you will be able to transfer existing backup files to tapes without any issues. It seems that you already have VB&R installed in your environment, so, it stands to reason to test our built-in tape functionality and see whether it answers your requirements.
Thanks.
Thanks.
