Hello
I had an issue with my 2019 Veeam server so I ended up stacking up Server 2022 and installing Veeam.
My old server is still operational, but I removed the networking and created a new server and did an export/import of the backup config.
I wish there was a way to tell Veeam to just look at the old server and import all the indexing/tape info but it is what it is.
My question is, now that the Tape Library's are cataloguing, how long is this going to take roughly? 300 LTO8 Tapes per site is looking to be a long time.
Can I just copy that data from the old server?
If not, is this supposed to use more than one drive to catalogue? it seems to be just using one drive at each site.
Thanks\

Re: Migration to new server (Tape Question)
I have Enterprise manager as well.
Could I not just copy the VBRCatalog\Tapes\Media folder to the new server?
Does that work with the indexes as well or is there a way to sync them?
