For our Veeam tape backup job each month we have a single media set

Create new media set for every backup session
Backup job is set to run last day of the month at 23:59
Unfourtunately our November job the tape drive jammed so we had to wipe the tapes and try again on 2nd December, backups are fine but now the tape set is labelled 'December Tape backup' rather than 'November Tape backup' Any way to manually amend as it could cause confusion come the end of December backup!
There is no built-in function to rename existing tape media sets.
That might be possible via manual DB edit, but since product works as intended(after all, backup to tape was done in December), chances that support team will assist with such query are quite low.
As a simple workaround, double click the tape with your early "December" backup, and fill in Description field "Backup from November". That way, even though media sets will have identical name, you can easily distinguish November backup cartridges by tape description column.
Any way to manually amend as it could cause confusion come the end of December backup!
