Restore Tape to another Veeam Server

I have numerous backup to disk jobs that run nightly and retain 2 restore points. These finish by 6am. I then run a backup of these repositories to a pair of tapes on a daily basis, a set of weekly tapes and monthly tapes. If i needed to take one of these tapes to another veeam server and restore the data how would i do this.

Hello Darren,

Load them into another tape library (or the same but connected to another VBR server), and run Inventory, then catalogue tape - media in the question would appear in the Imported media pool. Since it’s done you can proceed to restore. Please note, that when importing tape media to another VBR server it is impossible to use such media with free space left without erasing. Once tape is erased you can use it on a regular basis.
