Shadow copy operation in progress/channel error

Upgraded to v8, configured a couple file-to-tape jobs to archive backups to tape. Veeam datastores are mounted as E: and F: on Veeam server.

Failed to create shadow copy for F: Error: Another shadow copy operation is already in progress
Task F:\Backups\jobname\jobname2014-11-23T201556.vbk completed with warning. Details: Channel error: ConnectionReset
Agent fatal error during script execution

What would cause this? I don't know why there would be concurrent shadow copy operations on those drives. I was running these backup to tape jobs when no other jobs would start. Any feedback is appreciated!

I would recommend you to open a support case for this issue, meanwhile you can check if there are any existing shadow copies of the volumes in the question by running the vssadmin list shadows in the command prompt (with administrator’s privileges) Thank you
