Simple tape job help please

I have a media pool created with a 3 day retention period. I'm adding "backups" - "backup jobs" picking my exchange job from the list and Im being prompted by "One or more source backup jobs have multiple full backup chains. .. Should only the latest chain or all existing chains be sent to tape upon first job run" . I picked "Latest". However under 'Options" - "Advanced" - "Advanced Tab" the box "Process latest full backup chain only" is not already checked. I only want latest jobs on tape. Should I then just check it ? Seems like it should already have a check mark since I was asked this up front.

Hi MikeO,

The dialog prompt works only during first run, so if you have a long backup chain with periodic full backups you can start your tape backup from the very last backup chain.

Checkbox under advanced will force backup to tape job to always write the latest chain.
