Hi,
we are running Veeam 9.5 and want now to use B2T with LTO7 Hp library
We try it with different jobs. One from the local disk storage to tape an another one from san storage to tape.
Both are running only with 40-60 MB/s.
Any ideas wy it is so slow?

Re: Slow Full Backup to Tape
Hard to say without seeing your infrastructure and corresponding job logs. Anyway, I have several questions:
- What server plays the role of tape proxy?
- How far it's located from backup repository?
- How tape device is connected to it?
- Is a simple Windows-based repository or something else?
- What component is identified as major bottleneck?
