As I understood We have 2 type of media pool :
1- what is difference between standard and GFS media pool ?
2- As I understood each media pool has 2 type standard and WORM if select WORM on that tape which reside in this pool we can just write once
and new data will be append to it till it full and will not overwrite on that but if select standard media pool we can select overwrite data , protect for specific period and never overwrite . Eventually in WORM pool we don't have overwrite and just once write on tape but in standard we can select type of retention.
Is that correct ?

Re: standard and WORM media pool
Hello!
1. Standard media pools contain tapes for regular backups and GFS media pools contain tapes for GFS backups to tape.
2. Retention settings are inapplicable for WORM media pools.
Thanks!
