Good day,
we have started to use Veeam Backup to tape, after many years of using Backup Exec.
As these tapes were written with Backup Exec, what operations do we need to perform on them to be able to use the full capacity of them? Do we erase the tape add them to the free pool? Or anything else?
When we ran the backup to tape, we noticed that there might still be some BE data on them that prevented us from using it's full capacity.
Thank you in advance for you help.

Re: Tapes from Backup Exec
Hello and welcome to the community Alesandro.
The procedure is very easy: you need to load such tapes in your library, inventory the library via Veeam B&R console (to make loaded tapes visible) and then mark such tapes as free. Last is automatically proposed whenever you move tape media to a media pool. Let us know if you have any questions. Cheers!
