I'm seeing some strange throughput on my new tape library/drive (TL2000). It's connected directly via 12GB SAS to the Veeam Server.
It goes up and down, reaching the theoretical maximum of the tape drive (LTO6) @ 160MB/s, then drops down to roughly 15MB/s. And its very consistent how it does it. Testing with the IBM tape diagnostic tool reaches a sustained 140MB/s.
