I need to backup to tape with veeam, but the costumer already use TSM and have a pool to TSM with the drives and the media pool shows like unrecognized, it's ok to backup it with that configuration or I need to release the drives from media pool?

I need to backup to tape with veeam, but the costumer already use TSM and have a pool to TSM with the drives and the media pool shows like unrecognized, it's ok to backup it with that configuration or I need to release the drives from media pool?

VBR will auto detect and lock drives from TSM.
Here is an explanation and workarounds on how to deal with two backup solutions working with same tape library.
