Hello!
We use the rman plugin on multiple servers and due to the vast amount of data we are moving, it's incredibly tough to get a good schedule going for a files to tape job without it failing due to shadow copies of files being removed by the next rman job.
That being said, is there a way to initiate the to tape backup immediately when RMAN finishes a job (kind of like executing a script to start another backup option we have in the GUI for vmware jobs etc..)?
Any insight on how to manage this better would be great!
Thank you in advance.

Re: Use script to initiate Tape backup after rman job finishes
Hi Marc,
Today, the file to tape is the only option but B2T support for enterprise plug-ins (including "immediate" copy to tapes) is one of our most important feature requests for our future versions.
Thanks!
