What takes the job to tape?

My query is the following.
I configure a Job Tape backup and make it take the backup that a job made to disk. In the tape job, it is only configured to retain the monthly backups, and the disk job that has to be carried out has 14 daily, 50 weekly, and 12 monthly backups configured.
My question is what is going to be copied to tape, everything that the job has to disk or is it only going to take the backups with the monthly label. Thanks.

if you only want to have monthly full backups to tape, then I would go for a GFS tape job and only configure monthly.

The labels of the backup jobs are irrelevant. The tape job schedule defines what is "monthly"
