I have just used Create Veeam Recovery Media to create an ISO image of a 32-bit Windows 7 Pro SP1 PC. The process seemed to work but, between "Copying boot files" and "Unmounting recovery image" it displays this:
32-bit version of Windows 7 does not support EFI boot.
What it means is that if you have a computer that has EFI boot, you won't be able to boot indeed. However, most probably, the computer where you created the machine still has the (old but still used a lot) BIOS specification and you will be able to boot on that.
Can you check in BIOS how you are booting? (UEFI or BIOS)? Then you are certain
Thanks Mike. It is BIOS and any bare metal restore we perform will be on an identical machine, not an EFI machine, so it looks like we're good.
Best regards, Paul.
