Backup for Workstation Backup not automatic retry when failed

Hi, all

I have a backup job configured for a virtual windows workstation (never turned off) with volume level backup mode ( daily scheduled to run daily at 11PM and keeps backup for 7 days)
The backup is managed by agent (not backup server)

Everything works as expected, but when the backup fails, automatic retry does not start and it only run again in the next backup window (at 11PM on next day).

According to the documentation Windows Agent Backup by default retries the job every 10 minutes within the next 23 hours:

Any tips for what might be going on?
