Backup network drives?

Hey all, can the free Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows back up network drives? For example, I have a 1 TB USB drive connected to my home router, accessible by \\x.x.x.x\.... which I have mapped in Windows 10 as drive letter X. Thanks!

No, it‘s not possible.
You will need to install Veeam B&R v10 Community Edition (as soon it’s released) to backup NAS Share.

Yes, you will need Veeam Backup & Replication v10 for NAS Backup.
Community Edition is free for 10 Workloads (Workload = VM, Agent, VM).

Hopefully, NAS Backups are included in Community Edition and not a feature of Enterprise or Enterprise Plus Edition. Can someone from veeam confirm if Veeam Community Edition can backup NAS Share?

I don‘t know the exact release date. Only Veeam can tell about that But I‘m expecting it at the end of february.

Yes, NAS Backup feature is included in v10 Community Edition and is likewise available for 10 instances.
