Backup of USB Drive on USB Drive

Hi everybody,

is ist possible to backup data of an USB drive to an USB drive with veeam backup agent?
on the "Options to backup" section no usb drives were shown.
the USB drive on not registered as a target device!


is it by design?

Correct, this is currently not supported by design. For more information have a look at other threads.

Acronis allows it... Time for "By Design" to become "By request."

What do I tell a customer that has an 8TB USB drive of data hanging off a server that really really wants to use Veeam Agent for Windows (Servers) and pay for it, but it doesn't support his needs?

Hi Steve, as mentioned in the other thread it will be added in a future update or release based upon requests from our customer base.
