How would backup settings get lost?
Yesterday everything was fine, today I come in and see a little question mark over the Veeam icon in the tray.
I open Veeam and it tells me no backup settings/jobs are configured?
This makes me very nervous, has anyone else experienced this before?
Were you able to recover your settings?

Re: Backup Settings Lost
Hello,
I have never seen it before, but one way to lose the settings is deleting the configuration in the file system (C:\ProgramData\Veeam\EndpointData)
I'm not sure how much worth it is to try to recover backup job settings... in most scenarios is probably easier to just configure a new job and continue with existing backup data.
If you like to know why it really happened, then please contact Veeam support. They might find something in the logs.
Best regards,
Hannes
