Backups to retain
I have configured VEB to keep restore points for the last 14 days. When I open restore points oldest is from 22 days go. Why those old restore points are not deleted?

Hi,
How many restore points do you have in total - 22 or 14?

Re: Backups to retain
The restore points to keep is the actual number of restore points, not the number of days of the oldest. So if you have '14' in that field, it will retain 14 backups regardless of how old they are. They should probably rename that field to make it's purpose a little clearer.

Re: Backups to retain
chaycock is right. From Veeam's Help Center retention article:
Veeam Endpoint Backup retains restore points for the last N days; the number of days is defined by the user. During every backup job session, Veeam Endpoint Backup checks if there is any obsolete restore point in the backup chain. If some restore point is obsolete, it is removed from the chain.
For retention policy settings, Veeam Endpoint Backup takes into account not calendar days but days on which backup files were successfully created.
