Hello,
I am using a Veeam Repository for the target of an endpoint backup.
Backup is "Entire computer"
I have made a restore of a single file and a big temp file was created during restore :
C:\Windows\Temp\hrmoscac.ray\089DF25F
Size : 46.6 GO
This file has not been deleted after restore.
Can I avoid creation of the temp file ? There is 54.7 GB free disk space on C:
Less than 10GO and server had serious problem
thanks

Re: Big temp file during restore
Hello sekapiet,
That’s just a symlink to the backup file in your repository. Although, the OS displays the large size (similar to the size of the volume in the backup) – the actual size should be close to zero. At rare occasions (like connection drops between the remote repositories), this symlink is not deleted from the Temp folder automatically, but it should be erased by windows native cleaning mechanisms anyway, so there is nothing to worry about.
