Hi,
We have a SQL Server who creates dump on a file share (diff on week days; and Full on weekend)
-> FULL DUMP process start at 6 pm on friday, and finish at 11am on staurday => so we want to execute Veeam Backup job at 1pm on saturday
-> DIFF DUMP process start at 6pm on week days, and finish at 11pm => so we want to execute Veeam backup job at 1am on week day.
We want cannot create 2 differents jobs (one for full, and one for incremental backup), because SQL flush everything before the new full dump. So the next Incremental job will do a full backup.
So it would be great to add an option to configure a different schedule time for Full backup.

Re: [FEATURE REQUEST] Different schedules for incremental and Full backup Jobs
Hello Christophe,
Thank you for the request.
Could you please explain the reason(s) behind the need to match the active full backup schedule with the full SQL dump schedule? Why not simply run incremental backups against new data sets that arrive when FULL DUMP is performed?
Also, what is the reason for not using our SQL Server processing capabilities instead of dumps?
Thanks
