Disable Backup over VPN

Is there a way to disable backup when a VPN is in use? If not - I think it would be a great enhancement..

Is there a way to disable backup when a VPN is in use?

If its possible - add network to the metered connections and use the Disable Backup over Metered Connections option in Veeam Endpoint Backup > Settings. However, be advised that its available in Win 8.x and above - Win 7 and server versions simply don’t have the needed API. P.S. I completely forgot that you can add the VPN directly to metered connection – so try to a the mobile network instead.
