Hi - perhaps it's a stupid question but I'm a lil cofused at the moment
For example:
Agent for Windows 4.0 WORKSTATION (or Free)
Entire Computer / Volume Level Backup
I can do a Bare-Metal-Recovery (e.g. after a damaged harddisk) or a Rollback (after Update Problems or whatever) and everything will work again? Especially Databases like SQL / Firebird / Filemaker?
Some customers have SQL Databases on their workstation because a software will install it. Usually they don't even know that they have SQL Express installed.
I know that the Server Version provides application-aware backups for SQL - but that's not what I need in this case.
Thank you.

Re: Entire Computer / Volume Level Backup & Databases
Hello!
Yes. We leverage Microsoft VSS to create consistent snapshots even in the free version. So, you should have no problems with any applications that provide VSS Writer.
But, remember to test your backups periodically in any case!
Thanks!
