Endpoint's Bare Metal Recovery fails to present an advanced BIOS or UEFI a boot-type option, instead imposing settings incompatible with VMWare Fusion virtual machines.
For example, in Fusion 8.x > Windows 10 > Veeam Endpoint Backup, create:
1) Veeam Recovery Media, and 2) Veeam Backup Media
2) In Fusion 8.x > Windows 10 > Bare Metal Restore Wizard, create a VMware .vmdk file-set
3) In Fusion 8.x, create a virtual machine, using the .vmdk, produced in step 2
4( In Fusion 8.x, observe the fail-to-boot misbehavior
Root cause; Veeam Bare Metal Recovery sets an arbitrary boot type in its partition logic, which in this case is incompatible with VMware Fusion 8.x
Suggested Resolution; In either step 1 or 2 or 3, offer and “Advanced” option to choose the boot type, associated with virtual and physical hosts.
The suggested resolution will cure the failure, simply by adjusting the boot type while creating the designated boot partition.

Hi bizcare,
Are you talking about post recovery boot issues or problems while booting from Recovery Media?
