Hello all,
i have found nothing in the forums concerning this problem / feature.
So let's say the following:
I have a Windows Server with multiple attached disks.
Iam using the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows Server Edition.
Some of them via Drive Letters and some of them via NTFS mount in a folder. (i.e. C:\MOUNTS\DISK1)
The Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows detects this NTFS mounted volume in a folder as a symbolic link, not as a volume with data in it.
So unfortunately there is no Restore possible of the data layingh on this Volume.
I'll bet there are many installations out there, where the Drive Letters aren't enough to mount Volumes to a Windows Server, or a NTFS mount has to be done due to a specific configuration !
Is this feature already in a planning phase ?
Thank you all for input or information !
Best Regards!

Re: Feature Request - Backup of NTFS mounted Volumes
Hello falkob,
Unfortunately, Veeam Agent for Windows does not process the content of the mapped disks. Cannot provide you the ETA but added you vote to this feature request. Thanks!
