Hello,
VAW is fantastic. I use it to backup Windows systems for friends and family. It sure makes being the "friends and family IT support" much easier than other backup products.
I use USB external hard drive to store backups and USB Thumb drive for Recovery Media. It all works well.
However, it sure would be much more convenient if the external backup hard drive could also serve as bootable Recovery Media. Can this be made possible?
It would also be really nice if the backup itself could be booted and used. (Some Mac backup software has this ability and it works well, albeit slower than when booting from internal drive, but with USB 3, it's very useable)
Thanks

Re: Feature Request: Install Recovery Environment on backup
Hi corby2112,
Thanks for your feedback! Glad to hear that you enjoy using our product. Regarding your question – yes, it’s possible. You have to create a recovery media fist on your USB, then remaining disk space will be allocated as a simple partition and you can use it for backup.
