I exchanged two of my hard disks.
I was not aware that I had to change the selected folders in veeam agent now, since the new hard disks had the same drive letter and folder structure.
Only because of a random check f the settings I found out, that I was not backing up crucial files since one month.
Feature Request
1. Please warn the user when a hard disk is missing that has folders/files selected.
2. I guess it would be easy to make a suggestion to use a new drive when drive letter and folder structure are the same
3. I can't delete the selections on the now missing drive from my backup job, they are greyed out. The problem is, that in the summary they are still shown as folders to be backed up with not warning(!) that veeam has no more access to these files.

Re: Feature Request: warning when hard disks change
Hello Joachim,
Situaton looks alike the one with the removable drives (USB flash drive). For USB drive case warning is not awaited and I am not sure it easy to differentiate these 2 cases. Anyways, your request is taken into account.
Thanks

I don't think so. Backup drive (target) is USB, but backed up drives (source) are SATA disks.

Re: Feature Request: warning when hard disks change
You are right. But principle is same. You backup one disk and on it disappears.
As I said, we will consider the request.
Thank you.
