Hi,
I have a quick questions regarding the licensing of physical servers with the instance based licensing in a Veeam Availability Suite Environment:
Is it possible to mix subscription licenses from Veeam B&R Ent with perpetual licenses for Veeam Availability Suite Enterprise? I would understand how this might be problematic for VMs, but does B&R allow it as long as the instances are only "used" for physical workloads?
Thanks in advance for any input,
Yannick

Re: Instance Based Licensing with Veeam Availability Suite
Hello Yannick,
Veeam B&R can work with only one license at at time starting from Update 4. You can merge license for Veeam B&R and Agents into single license file. Please take a look at instance conversion policy here. This KB article should help you to merge your license keys into single license file. Please let us know if you have any questions or need any further assistance. Cheers!
