Most Recent Success Timestamp

Post by sb1920alk »

Hello,

I'm trying to write a bot that will tell me the most recent "success" timestamp for a VAW stand alone job that is backing up to a shared folder. If I open the .vbm file for the job in the shared folder, I can see CreationTime= in Points/Point ID section that seem to point at the full and incremental files in the chain. Is it sufficient to take the most recent of those timestamps? Is there a better way? I tried pulling the timestamp in the first line, but it seems to update when the job starts, even if it doesn't finish successfully.

Hello Scott,

Better way would be to use Windows events from the machine where agent is installed. Hope it helps!
