Dear Community,
I'm currently using veeam EB to backup my work laptop to my home NAS (ubuntu+samba) box. It works great.
One thing I'm missing is encryption. I know the supported way of encrypting backups to removable drives is using MS Bitlocker.
Anything similar planned for CIFS shares?
As a workaround I tried mounting a Bitlocker-encrypted .vhd stored on my NAS box (say, drive S:), but this can't be selected as a backup target. S: doesn't appear on local storage list in Veeam, neither in "entire computer" nor "volume level".
windows 7 enterprise, veeam 1.5.0.306

Re: NAS+encryption?
Hi adamb01,
