Hello,
I have the same problem with a QNAP share target.
The job fails starting. But If I access the shared folder first, it will be ok after 5 or 6 seconds. But if I restart the job after disk is up, the backup will start.
When the disk is idle and veeam agent try to connect, I suppose it does not wait until the target wake up (about 5 seconds).
There should be an option to increase idel timeout for network target ?
Regards

Re: QNAP - Wake on lan
Hello Philippe,
Can you please clarify the following:
1. What QNAP model you are using as a target?
2. Just to check - wake on lan is enabled in the qnap settings, right?
3. Veeam Agent for Windows should retry the backup job right after the job run fails. Is the next retry successful or not?
