Recovering from Backup Copy

Post by RubinCompServ »

I have configured a VEB job to backup to my local Veeam server and keep 2 days of backups. I also configured a Backup Copy job on the Veeam server to copy the backup to a Cloud Repository server, and keep 14 days. I've verified that the Copy job is copying the extra restore points, but when I try to do a recovery from the bootable media, I only see the two restore points from the original job. How can I recover from the previous points?

David,

With the current version the only way to recover from the Cloud Repository server is by an administrator that uses the B&R console to recover on-premises. The bootable media does not know about the backup copy job. In the future, as we have announced, there will be better integration with Cloud Connect for Veeam Agent for Windows (new name for VEB)
