We are using VAW2 to backup multiple AWS EC2 instances. Is there any benefit to creating and storing ISO recovery media for each instance? We were thinking that we would just store one "AWS" recovery ISO. It would seem like the drivers and such would be the exact same and all of the guest OS level attributes are stored in the backup files themselves?
Incidentally, we have successfully restored a AWS EC2 instance to a regular VMware VM and that process worked well!

Re: Recovery Media ISO
Hi Wyn,
Thanks for sharing good feedback! If the operating systems are the same, yes you can keep one iso file for sure.
