Request: Delay after connected

My schedule settings is
* When backup target is connected (using Repository)
* Backup no more often than every 24 hours

When an laptop is returning to office and started up it imediatly starts to backup (as intedend) but i would like to set some delay between "detected connection to Backup target" and when backup-job starts, fx 30 min.

It aslo would be nice if there is some network detection between computer and repository, eg latency/speed so if its too bad, wait backup-job (fx when connected with bad VPN)

Do you need this for some kind of user activity or something else?

We already have this kind of check and have an ability to disable backup jobs over metered connections.

Hi.
Our Customers is complaining that laptops is so slow when they start them at morning (returning to office).
Since there is often other activity going on when they startup.
It would be nice if backup could "hold back" for fx 30 min.

metered connection isnt the solution.
FX. You are on a nice hotel with good internet and You connection with vpn to office its ok to backup, but if you are on a "bad" hotel with lots of lag and slow speed it would be nice if NOT backup starts

1. Ok, thanks for the feedback regarding start time on events. Currently, you can use job scheduling to start backup jobs once your customers start working in the morning.
