Hello.
I'm new to Veeam and i could not find anyone talking about splitting the backup database.
Scenario is like this:
I need to backup
- File server with 18Tb of data
- MS Exchange
Backup location
- Backup server with 21Tb
- 3x8tb Backup USB externel HDDs attached to the backup server
File server and Exchange DB must be backeduped on local Backup server and also on external 8Tb Hdds (these disks leave the building and they will be used in case of a contingency plan).
The problem is that the DB must be splited in 2 or 3 parts so that it can fit the external drives.
Is that possible?
God bless you all

Re: Save database in multiple location or split it
Hi Mate,
Unfortunately, it is not possible, however you can use 3rd party tools like 7zip to split your backup files into separate parts and then move them to the external media.
Thanks!
